Kingston ships SDHC/SDXC with 4K support

Kingston announced today that they have begun shipping their SDHC/SDXC UHS-I Speed Class 3 product line.  The new cards are compatible with all SDHC and SDXC host devices, and allows users to capture cinema quality Full HD (1080p), Ultra HD (2160p), 3D, and 4K2K videos on high-performance cameras. In addition to high performance video, they can also be used for high-density photograph capture in burst or continuous capture mode, television recording, and live broadcasts.  

SDHC/SDXC UHS-I Speed Class 3 card provides speeds of 90MB/s read and 80MB/s write.  The 64GB cards can capture up to 60 minutes of 4K HD video or shoot high-density image files in RAW or JPEG (up to 8,000 24MP images).

Kingston has launched three models in 16, 32, and 64GB capacities.
