Network specialists Cisco are planning to cut 1,300 jobs, or about two percent of the company’s workforce worldwide.

Cisco issued a brief statement on Monday, saying that it will implement a focused set of “limited restructurings,” which will result in job cuts. The plans will affect about two percent of the workforce and the layoffs will be carried out in accordance with local legal requirements, including consultation where necessary.
