Ten heatpipes and a large heatsink

Sycthe had an interesting appearance during CeBIT and we already wrote about their new VGA cooler and the new HDD cooler. Besides those two, Scythe has also showcased a large ten-heatpipe Ninja CPU cooler.

As you can see from the picture below, this cooler could hardly fit in that acrylic case, and it barely misses the PSU. It has ten heatpipes and we managed to count around 32 extra large fins. It just looks great, and it sure can keep the heat off just about any CPU. It is rumored that it can handle up to 100W without adding any fans to it.

Unfortunately, when we asked about the availability of this cooler, Scythe said that it is just a prototype made for a show, and they doubt that it will ever see the market shelves. They might change their mind if they get good feedback from the public.
