Making the most out of your games purchase
A recently launched video game comparison website has now officially launched the marketplace section to its site; allowing users to sell or trade video games completely free of charge.

Unlike many websites that charge a fee for selling games online, a free marketplace has now opened its doors online; allowing gaming fans to flog or swop their games with other users online, for free.

The marketplace is run by Playr2.com, and aims to help gamers get as much back for their old or unwanted games as possible. Having been in testing stages for the past three months, the Playr2.com Marketplace is now officially up and running; allowing gaming fans to sell or trade their video games online, without having to pay for the privilege.

Named the “Marketplace” on the Playr2.com site, users looking to sell or trade games simply need register their details to create a free account on the Playr2 site; leaving them free to upload any games they wish to sell or trade with other users.

Users simply need to scan the barcode of the game via a webcam or the Playr2 mobile app; whereby information of the exact game they wish to sell or trade will be uploaded. If users do not have a webcam or the accompanying Smartphone app, they can search for the titles they wish to sell/ trade on-site; whereby preloaded information stored on-site will be uploaded.

Simon Kilby, Founder of Playr2.com, said it’s important that gamers should be able to sell or swap their games online, free of charge. Although there are other forums and online communities that do this, we aim to make it as easy as possible for gamers by not only allowing them to do it for free, but by using what we believe is a simply barcode scanner- making selling your games as simple as can be.
