Foxconn to hire 140,000 workers in 2011

New 140 hectare facility planned
Foxconn is expected to hire more than 140,000 workers in 2011, as it is developing a new production center in Zhengzhou City, China.

According to Digitimes, the new production base occupies 140 hectares of land and Foxconn will also construct 68 dormitory buildings to house the huge workforce.

The company currently employs more than 920,000 workers, so it will obviously hit the one million mark sometime in 2011.
