Irked by Slash's appearance in Guitar Hero III

Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses fame has filed a $20 million lawsuit against Activision Blizzard over the company’s decision to feature ex-GNR lead guitarist Slash in Guitar Hero III.

Rose claims that the developers broke an agreement not to feature Slash in the game and that the game featured references to Slash’s new band Velvet Revolver. Rose’s lawyer Skip Miller claims that the suit was filed to “protect” Guns N’ Roses and “Welcome to the Jungle” as “incredibly valuable assets.”

However, while Rose might have some legal grounds to go after the developers, it all sounds a bit ridiculous or even pathetic. Rose is the only original GNR member left in the line-up and the band without Slash is a bit like sex without nobody else in the room.
