Microsoft does not make a dent

Despite
high levels of competition, search company Google is continuing to steal market share from Yahoo! and Microsoft.

According to market research firm comScore, Google's core Web search properties captured 58.5 percent of the U.S. market in October, up from 57 percent in September. Yahoo! was second, followed by Microsoft. All three search companies showed a five percent increase in hits.

It appears that they are all growing in the number of search queries, but Google is taking a disproportionate share.
