Motorola, Inc. announced that two of its subsidiaries had brought legal action against Aruba Networks, Inc., claiming infringement by Aruba of their short-range wireless network technology patents.

Motorola indicated it was seeking damages and a permanent injunction against Aruba for violation of the patents. The infringed patents reportedly involve technologies for three-dimensional representations for short-range wireless network design and management and technologies for planning and managing wireless networks.
