Six vulnerabilities

Microsoft has
provided advanced notification of patches to expect this Tuesday. In what has become a tradition, six of the patches that will be released are labeled 'critical’ and deal with possible remote code execution. Also added to the list are three additional patches that are labeled ‘important’ by Microsoft.

Rumors also suggest that Microsoft might also turn loose an additional two patches to address some optimization problems with Windows Vista. These two patches for Vista were initially released this past Wednesday, but could find a place in Windows Update along with the security updates this Tuesday.
