Nintendo to build ?110 million R&D center
No recession for Japan's top toymaker
According to a Nikkei report, Nintendo is planning to build an immense R&D center next to its global headquarters, on what's now a golf range.
Apparently someone forgot to tell Japan's top console outfit that there's a recession on, as the 40,000 square meter facility is expected to cost ¥12.8 billion (roughly €110 million).
The site should be used for software and hardware research and development and the plans should be officially announced shortly.
