FSC's new Amilo Mini Ui3520 netbook was listed on several European e-tailer sites earlier this morning.
Like all recently announced netbooks it's powered by Intel's Atom N270 CPU at 1.6GHz and it packs 2GB of memory and a 60GB hard drive. The Amilo Mini comes with 3x USB 2.0/LAN/WLAN 802.11bg/Bluetooth, ExpressCard/34 Slot, 4in1 Card Reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro), so upgrading it should be a breeze.
Like most vendors FSC opted for an 8.9-inch 1024x600 non-glare screen for its netbook debut. The Mini's design is typical of FSC's notebook lineup, although we'd like to see more color options as soon as possible. It weighs just 1.00kg with a 4-cell battery.
The current list price is €399 and it sounds like a fair deal. It ships with XP Home and a two-year warranty.
You can find the listing here.
Update: Earlier today we got the specs all wrong, thanks to a sloppy retailer. The Amilo Mini has 1GB of memory, not 2GB as previously reported, and it has a 60GB hard drive. We apologize for any inconvenience our original report may have caused.
