Beta for Spark opens to Xbox One owners

by on05 March 2014

If you had access to the PC version you will get a key

The Project Spark beta enters another phase with the news that Microsoft and developer Team Dakota is now opening the beta up to include Xbox One owners. Those that had access to the Windows 8.1 beta of Project Spark will be getting a beta key for the Xbox One version.

Since the beta started, Microsoft says that over 250,000 people have signed up to have a look at the creation software that uses a revolutionary toolset to create custom games and adventures. Spark enables users to create games in a number of different styles and to unleash their inner-game developer.

The full version of Project Spark is still slated to be released later this year; and once released, the PC and Xbox One version will be joined by a version of Project Spark for the Xbox 360, as well. It is unknown if there will be a beta of the Xbox 360 version prior to release. There is still time to sign up for the beta at the link below.

Xbox One owners can sign up for the Project Spark beta here.
