State of Decay, which was developed by Undead Labs, has sold an impressive 250,000 downloads within the first 48 hours of release. Those numbers are impressive when you realize that the only Xbox Live Arcade title that has sold at a rate like this was the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.

The State of Decay game had no advertising budget and has relied solely on the community and word of mouth to get the word out. While the game has only been released in some regions, the studio is working on getting the title released in other regions. In addition, a PC version of the game is in development, but no release date has been announced for the PC version.

State of Decay is a solid title and worth having a look if you like zombie titles.
