Will run from April 19th to May 2nd

Ubisoft has confirmed that the multiplayer beta for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is finally getting a release date. The beta will start on April 19th and run through May 2nd for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Xbox 360 players had two ways (that we know of) to get into the beta, which were to gain access with Splinter Cell Conviction or by pre-ordering Future Solider for the Xbox 360. Details on how PlayStation 3 players can join in are a bit of a mystery, as there has been no announcement yet.

Players will get to sample 12-player game play in the Conflict mode, in which players battle to complete objectives to earn points, and the team with the most points wins the round. A second game play mode known as Saboteur will be released on April 26th. Both modes will be playable on the Pipeline and Mill maps.

The release date for Future Soldier seems not to have changed, with it arriving on the 22nd of May in North America (May 25th in Europe) for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The PC version is slated to arrive on June 12th in North America and June 15th in Europe.
