The GTX 580 at 815MHz

Zotac has added yet another card to its GTX 500 series lineup, the factory overclocked GTX 580 AMP2! Edition. The card features a rather hefty factory overclock and is cooled by Zalman's VF3000 copper cooler.

As far as the specs go, the GTX 580 AMP2! features 512 CUDA cores and ticks at 815MHz for the GPU, 1630MHz for shaders and 4100MHz for 3GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface. Just for comparison sake, the reference card works at 772/1544/4008MHz. The cooler came from Zalman and we already had a chance to see the VF3000 on some other cards. It features a full copper base, five copper heatpipes and two 92mm fans that cool a rather large heatsink. The downside of the VF3000 is that the card actually almost takes three full slots.

All the Nvidia features are still around so you have SLI, 3D Vision Surround, PhysX and CUDA support. The card will be bundled with Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood game.
