Research In Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry device will be sold in China by the end of the month.

According to a recent article by Interfax China, China Mobile has ordered 10,000 BlackBerry 8700 devices. They will be sold for $470, under the brand name Alcatel BlackBerry 8700.

RIM has been experiencing a downturn in sales in North America lately. as the financial services industry has been suffering from cutbacks. It hopes that its success in China could be huge and help it to cover its losses.
