Even thought that it was pretty much detailed ten days ago, MSI has decided to officially announce its thin and light X-Slim X600.

The specifications still include either a Celeron 723 or SU3500 and according to the specification list there will also be a model with even more powerful SU9600 CPU. It features Intel's GS45+ICH9M-SFF motherboard and ATI's Mobility HD 4330 discrete graphics with with 512MB of memory which is far from what MSI likes to market as high-end.

The rest of the specs include up to 4GB of DDR2 667/800MHz SO-DIMM memory in two slots, Gigabit LAN, 802.11bgn WiFi, optional Bluetooth, one eSATA/USB combo and two USB ports, D-Sub and an HDMI output. Another interesting thing on the official specification list is that the X600 will also be available with a 6 and 9-cell battery as well.

The configurations which were priced at €799 for the cheaper SKU with Celeron 723 at 1.2GHz, 3GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive isn't exactly a bargain, and we even don't want to talk about the price with more powerful SU3500, let alone the SU9600.
