American part of AMD will launch its Barcelona in New York as AMD traditionally has its big Opteron or related launches in New York, probably because it’s close to NY Stock exchange and this is the audience that AMD likes to touch with its launch.

This is not a Phenom desktop launch it is a Barcelona, Opteron 2200 series quad core launch only while the real Phenom quad core with the real clock speeds comes later this year.

This will be the end of AMD CPU delay era but this doesn’t mean that it will means that it’s an end of AMD’s cash crisis but it will certainly help to get them better.
