Android P or Android 9 has officially popped up on OnePlus 6 and proved that there might be a home for Android segmentation after all, at least in the super high end.

Qualcomm and Ericsson to blame

Android 9 will launch on OnePlus 6 and now OnePlus 5T rather soon thanks to the support for Project Treble. This will ensure faster Android updates for both devices.

All new colors shipping  

Essential - the phone launched by Andy Ruben and a bunch of other ex-Googlers has launched three new colors and announced Oreo Android 8.1 OTA beta too.

OxygenOS 5.0.2 OTA

OnePlus 5T is probably the most prominent phone launched at the back end of 2017, powered by Snapdragon 835. Now the phone has got its first official Android 8.0 based OxygenOS 5.0.2 OTA.

Nexus 4, 5, 7 and 9 on the list

A 400MB update is coming to the Nexus 9 WiFi version and this update will get the tablet to Android 5.1.1. We hear that it should make this tablet a bit faster. 

Still no word on memory leak

Google recently announced the new Android 5.1 Lollipop update that will first come to Nexus device and now Nexus 5 has started to recieve the update via OTA.
