Guys from CPU World site managed to find an early listing of AMD's upcoming FX-Series processors. Altough, according to our sources, the actual release is a month away, it is still nice to see the first prices in order to get a more clear picture.
The three CPUs in question are the eight-core FX-8120 and FX-8150 as well as the single six-core FX-6100. The six, or hexa-core, FX-6100 ticks at 3.3GHz with a 3.9GHz Turbo mode clock, has 6MB of L2 cache and 8MB of L3 cache, and a 95W TDP. This one is listed at US $188.32.
The two octa-cores, the FX-8120 and FX-8150 both feature 8MB of L2, 8MB of L3 cache and same 125W TDP. The faster FX-8150 is clocked at 3.6GHz with a 4.2GHz Turbo while the FX-8120 ticks at 3.1GHz, with a 4GHz Turbo. The FX-8150 is listed with a US $266.28 while the FX-8120 has a US $221.73 price tag.
Of course, this is the first listing and prices might be a bit lower once all the other retailers/e-tailers join in on the fun.
