Opens the door to low cost, ultra-thin and flexible displays

Nanosys and DIC today announced a breakthrough in inkjet-printed Quantum Dot colour conversion devices for LCD and emissive displays which they claim will pave the way to the $12.6 billion anticipated market for low cost, ultra-thin and flexible displays.

Coming in 27-inch and 31.5-inch sizes

Just a week ahead of the CES 2017 show, Samsung announced its newest CH711 Quantum Dot curved monitor series that will be showcased at the show and will be available in 27-inch and 31.5-inch sizes, both with WQHD 2560x1440 resolution.

Coming in 24-inch and 27-inch sizes

Samsung's new CFG70 series curved Quantum Dot monitors are now available in Europe, starting at around €380 for the 24-inch and €490 for the 27-inch model.

1800R and 1500R curvature, 125 percent of sRGB color spectrum

On Monday, Samsung announced three  additions to its PC display panel lineup featuring the first Quantum Dot materials that the company has ever applied outside of its TV lineup.
