Micro ATX and active cooling

Zotac didn't skip Nvidia's Geforce 9300 launch party, as it has announced its new nForce 730i mirco ATX motherboard. Unlike other partners, Zotac decided that it's a safe bet to cool the new NV-chip with a small fan.

The new Geforce 9300-based motherboard supports Intel's LGA 775 Core 2 Duo/Quad/Extreme, Pentium and Celeron processors, has four DDR2-800 memory slots, single PCI-Express x16 2.0, one PCI-Express x1 and three PCI slots, as well as six SATA 3.0GBps ports. The new motherboard supports Nvidia's Hybrid SLI and DirectX 10.

The integrated DirectX 10 capable Geforce 9300 GPU works at 450MHz for the core and has 16 stream processors clocked at 1,200MHz. Other specs include Gigabit LAN, 7.1 channel audio and DVI, HDMI and analog D-Sub connectors.

The price is still unknown, but it should retail at around €100 in E.U.
