The final version

After detailed pictures of Asus' and Gigabyte's upcoming X58 motherboards appeared, it was about time we saw what Foxconn has to offer as well, thanks to one of the members at Xtremesystems forum. Foxconn has decided to place its Renaissance X58 in the "Digital Life" series, and we are looking at what appears to be the final version of the motherboard, coupled with a rather interesting and not so bulky cooling system.

The motherboard comes on a rather aesthetically good looking black PCB with a rather interesting cooling system for both the Northbridge and Southbridge. As this is a Digital Life series motherboard, Foxconn decided to to make the Northbridge cooler somewhat similar to the small speaker and the Southbridge looks a lot like some kind of volume control knob.

The rest of the specs include 6-phase power circuit for the CPU, four PCI-Express slots, six DDR3 memory slots, eight SATA 3.0 and two eSATA connectors, on board power and reset buttons and much more. According to the post over at Xtremesystems, the price and the release date are still unknown, but first results from that user should start to appear on November 13th.

Foxconn also has a Quantum Force series of motherboards which is reserved for gamers and overclocking enthusiasts, so it's possible that we will see another more interesting X58-based motherboard from Foxconn. You can check out the rest of the pictures at XtremeSystems forum here.
