Nvidia Geforce 8100 all the way

Zotac has announced its latest addition to its Nvidia based motherboard lineup, the Zotac Geforce 8100. The new Micro-ATX motherboard comes with support for Hypertransport 3.0 and is compatible AMD Phenom, Athlon and Sempron processors.

The new motherboard is based on Nvidia's Geforce 8100 IGP which will give you DirectX 10 and Shader Model 3.0 support. This IGP also brings support for Nvidia's Geforce Boost and Hybrid SLI technology. Other noted specs include a single PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot, two PCI slot, two memory slots with support for DDR2-1066 memory, 5.1-channel HD audio, four SATA ports and one PATA, 12 USB.10 ports and a single Ethernet port.

Unlike Nvidia's reference design which comes with a VGA and an HDMI port, Zotac decided to go for a DVI and VGA port instead, but Nvidia's reference design is also a bit larger than Zotac's tightly packed Micro-ATX motherboard.

The new motherboard should be available soon, but the price has yet to be revealed.
