EVGA's pimped 780i SLI

EVGA has announced a newest addition to its FTW-line of products, the Nforce 780i SLI based motherboard. Despite the fact that it comes with old Nforce 680i in combination with the NF200 chip, EVGA has managed to pimp it up a little in order to make it a bit more appealing.

EVGA's vision of the 780i SLI based motherboard comes with an 8-phase power design, all-solid capacitors, VDrop control, on board Clear CMOS, Power and Reset buttons, Ferrite core chokes and most importantly a support for up to 1066MHz memory.

Other noted specs include support for Intel's 45nm Core 2 Duo, Quad and Exteme processors, support for PCI-Express 2.0 and Tri-SLI. It has six SATA-II ports, ten USB 2.0 ports, 7.1 channel audio and two Gigabit Ethernet ports.

The new EVGA For the Win 780i SLI motherboard is already available and the suggested price tag stands at $279.99.
