P5Q Premium with 16GB of memory

According to a post over at Lars's former lair, TweakTown, Asus held a rather exciting press event in Taipei. Beside the usual bunch of stuff, TweakTown managed to get a glimpse at Asus's P45 lineup, which should make its debut at Computex.

The most interesting demo that our colleagues from TweakTown managed to see was an Asus P5Q Premium motherboard running with 16GB of memory under Vista OS. The four 4GB XTune Quimonda DDR3 memory modules were running at 800MHz DDR with 5-5-5-18 2T latencies.

16GB memory might be some geek's wet dream. You can check out the CPU-Z and Windows Taks Manager screenshots here.
