DX 10 comes to chipset

AMD's highly anticipated integrated chipset is set to be launched at the very late Q1 2008. We´ve heard that ATI and AMD should have this chipset out by the March time frame and some people have already told us that it will be branded as the AMD 790G chipset.

The name makes sence and this IGP core should be quite fast and, of course, ATI takes care of the power consumption issue, so there should even be a mobile version of the chipset.

Intel also plans its G45 just a few months later with the same DirectX 10 support, but we know who should have the faster product and who will sell more in spite of that.
