Already two different versions

Just over a week ago a picture appeard of Gigabyte's GA-780SLI-DS5 on a Taiwanese forum and you can find our news post about it here, but we've now got our own picture of the board and it seems to be a little bit different from the one in the earlier picture.

As you can see, the cooler is vastly different, although we were told by Gigabyte that this isn't the final design, as they're looking at extending the heatpipe to the Southbridge.

The model name is also on a different location on the two boards and the x16 PCIe slots are different. The rest of the board appears similar, so we're not quite sure what's going on here.

Gigabyte will also have a DQ6 version based on the 780i chipset, but we don't have any information about this board at the moment. Apparently, the 780i chipset is running very hot and it's difficult to design a good cooling solution for it. The N200 PCIe controller, on the other hand, is apparently quite satisfactory.
