More small motherboards

Albatron is hardly one of the most famous motherboard manufacturers in the world, but many of its engineers and staff has backgrounds in AOpen and Gigabyte. In time for Computex Albatron has a new range of tiny motherboards to show the world.

First up is the KI690-AM2 which has already made the head lines at CeBIT this year, hopefully you'll be able to buy one of these babies shortly. Next up is the KI690-S1 which is a modified version using socket S1 for AMD's Turion 64 X2 or Turion 64 processors. This allows for a cooler running system and it's one of the first dedicated socket S1 motherboards we've heard of.

The third and final board is the KD690-AM2 which is a Mini-DTX form factor board and will have a single PCI and PCIe x1 for expansion.

All of the boards are otherwise identical in terms of features and all of them use the AMD 690G chipset.

You can find the press release and information about a few more products that Albatron will be showing at Computex here
