The Doogee MIX might be publicly showed for the first time on Tuesday 18, at the Asia World trade show in Hong Kong, and there are already pictures of the phone in the wild.
The company promises a 5.5 inch AMOLED screen of the unknown resolution, octa-core CPU, dual rear camera setup and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The dual camera setup will feature one 16-megapixel and one 8 megapixel camera.
Doogee explains that they used two first letters from the world MINI and the last letter of the word MAX to come up with a MIX brand. This sounds better than admitting that you just copy it from much larger Xiaomi, a company that has the bezel-less phone with the same brand. There is an indication that Doogee might use Helio P25 SoC inside which is more of a mainstream than the high-end SoC.
This phone, just like the Maze Alpha will end up selling for less than the Xiaomi Mix but there is no any indication on the availability or pricing.
It is rather certain that it will be priced less aggressive than the Xiaomi Mi Mix but there is no real indication about the actual pricing. Since Elephone, another brand from china famous for using MediaTek SoCs is going to launch a bezel-less phone rather soon, one can see that most higher-end phones from China-based smaller manufacturers will aim for the bezel-less body. It worked for Xiaomi, and they hope it will work for them too.
