Huawei has unveiled its newest iteration of the P8 Lite smartphone that will feature a 5.2-inch IPS 1080p screen and be powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 SoC.

The new P8 Lite is strangely named as the original smartphone that launched over two years ago but actually packs a bit more punch that the newer P9 Lite.

Nevertheless, the P8 Lite (2017) is designed around a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 IPS touchscreen and is powered by Kirin 655 SoC with two quad-core Cortex-A53 clusters and Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It also comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, expandable via microSD card slot.

The rest of the specifications include a 12-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera and an 8-megapixel front one, all the usual connectivity options, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as a non-removable 3,000mAh battery. It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

According to known details, Huawei's P8 Lite (2018) should be launching all around Europe by the end of this month with a rather reasonable price of €239.
