IPhone 7 might have a heating problem

Don’t expect a recall

Apple appears to be trying to copy Samsung by having its iPhone 7s catch fire.

There have been reports of the device exploding , and a report from down under that a woman by the name of Melanie Tan Pelaez claims that she has suffered from second degree burns after apparently falling asleep on her device.

The Australian woman left her phone charging and was watching movies when she fell asleep. In the morning, she woke up to find that her arm had pins and needles and realized that her arm was very red. The hospital told her it was a second-degree burn.

She then took the phone to the Apple Store to report the incident. As you might expect, Apple took it seriously.

“Apple took my phone and details, but said it couldn’t have been the phone because it didn’t have a distinct smell. I then got a call from a member of the executive team who told me they were now handling the matter and had sent the phone to a senior technician in California for testing,” she said.

To be fair to Jobs’ Mob it is possible falling asleep on the phone blocked the phone’s air circulation but Pelaez has refused the offer for a replacement device, claiming she does not trust it anymore.
