Microsoft releases Lumia 650

Software giant Microsoft has released its new Windows 10 powered Lumia 650 and Lumia 540 Dual SIM.  Not only is it a phone which plays nice with your PC and corporate networks, it appears to be arriving at a reasonable price. Redmond tells us that you can pick one up for £150 - £160 in the UK

The Lumia 650 features the latest Microsoft Office apps, built-in Skype integration and enterprise security, making it a great option for both Windows fans and business users.

This one has a metal frame and a 5-inch HD OLED display. Its key attraction is that it works perfectly for businesses and is better at handling security threats.  It also has device encryption and device wipe.

Microsoft is bragging about the phone having “our best ever” wide angle front camera in its category and 8MP rear camera.

Measuring at 6.9mm thick, the Lumia 650 the phone is wrapped in a highly polished, diamond cut and anodized aluminium frame

It comes preloaded with Creative Studio, Excel app, Gadgets, Lumia Help+Tips, Maps, OneDrive, OneNote, Photos Add, ins, PowerPoint app, Skype, Transfer my Data and Word app.

It is powered by a 650 2000 mAh battery and has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and battery life sensor. There is a microSD card slot, AV connectivity and charging and a 3.5mm stereo headset Redmond said it can manage up to 16 hours LTE Talk Time.
