by on24 October 2013

With a €700 price tag

The recently announced Nokia 1520 flagship Windows Phone 8 based phablet has been spotted listed for pre-order in Europe with a rather high €700 price tag.

While it certainly brings a lot of screen real-estate as well as decen specifications, Nokia Lumia 1520 is not threading into Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One Max teritory with this price and Samsung was certainly longer in the phablet game. While it has been originally planned to show up first in the UK, Germany and France but it looks like Italy got the dibs.

Italian etailer NStore.it, which is Nokia premium partner, is currently listing it at €700 and wants €100 deposit in case you are interested.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is company's new flagship phablet based around a 6-inch full HD screen and powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB of RAM. It has an impressive 20.7 PureView rear camera and certainly fits the high-end market, although it runs on Windows Phone 8 OS.

In the US, Nokia 1520 will be AT&T exclusive but precise info regarding the availability has not been announced. The off-contract price in the US should around US $750.
