Nexus 5 to launch mid-October?

by on17 September 2013

Nexus 4 16GB sold out in US

The new Nexus phone is less than a month away, according to the guys over at Ausdroid the launch date is October 14, but this is still a rumour at this point. In any case, the launch is just a few weeks away and that's what really matters.

In addition, the good old Nexus 4 16GB has sold out at Google’s US store and it appears that it won’t be restocked. Reports are also emerging that Google has yanked the new Nexus 7 LTE off Google Play, but it appears to have been sold out and it should be back. The Nexus 4 probably won’t.

We’re not sure whether the same fate expects the Nexus 4 8GB. It might not be a bad idea to keep selling it, but with an insanely low price tag it’s hardly a big money maker for Google.

The new Nexus 5 is also coming from the house of LG and if early leaks are to be believed it will feature a 1080p screen, Snapdragon 800 processor and a vastly improved camera with OIS.
