Samsung Galaxy Note ships in Europe

€550 for biggest Android phone out there

Halfway between a smartphone and tablet, the Samsung note is a pretty impressive piece of kit, provided you can live with the bulk.

Showcased this summer, the 5.3-inch phone features a 1280x800 Super AMOLED screen, dual-core Exynos 4210 processor with Mali 400MP graphics and 1 gig of RAM. It boasts 16GB of storage, along with a microSD slot, 8MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and even a stylus.

However, although it has a spec sheet to put the iPhone 4S and Galaxy Nexus to shame, it might be a bit too big for a lot of consumers. Measuring 146 x 83 x 9.65mm, the Note is the biggest smartphone on the market. At 178g it’s not what we would call light, either.

Samsung started shipping its new flagship phone over the weekend and in case you need some high res AMOLED goodness, and you happen to have pretty big hands, you can get it for about €550.
