With Tegra 2 inside
It looks like Galaxy S II won't be the only dual-core smartphone from Samsung as the Sweden Three provider has just announced the Galaxy Z. Featuring Nvidia Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core chip, the new 4.2-inch Galaxy Z is a mix between the Galaxy SL and the Galaxy S II.

The new Galaxy Z features a 4.2-inch 800x480 Super Clear LCD capacitive touchsreen and replaces the Galaxy S II 1.2GHz Exynos chip with Nvidia Tegra 2 inside. The CPU and the screen aren't only things that got replaced as the new Galaxy Z is a bit heavier at 135 grams and a bit thicker at 9.45mm than the Galaxy S II. It also has a 720p capable 5 megapixel rear cam as opposed to the Galaxy S II that can brag with 8 MP and full HD video recording.

The rest of the features include 802.11bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, digital compass, GPS, and will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

Although it was only announced in Sweden, there is a decent chance that we will see this one on other markets as well. Currently, it is only available for pre-order in Sweden with a price tag set at €435/US $630.

You can find it here and you can check out a nice comparison with the Galaxy S II over at Gsmarena.com.
