According to a fresh report from Digitimes, HTC's rumoured tablet PC might be based on Nvidia's Tegra 2 platform. The rumour apparently originated from Taiwan-based notebook maker Pegatron Technology, which landed orders from the aforementioned company.

According to known details, the device should be based on Nvidia's Tegra 2 platform, should run Android 3.0 OS, while the rest of the specifications include a multi-touch screen with 1280x720 resolution, a 32GB SSD, 2GB of memory and features like WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Thanks to its connection with carriers and its pretty good sales web, HTC's tablet might have a bright future, at least if the price hits the sweet spot.
