iPhone 4 is in short supply

by on23 June 2010

AT&T not to have any more till June 29th
Demand for the fourth generation iPhone is ten times higher than the first-day pre-orders of the iPhone 3GS. AT&T claims that the demand has caught everyone a little by surprise. The bottom line is that if you didn’t pre-order an iPhone 4, you are not going to be able to find one until they start to show back up at AT&T dealers on June 29th ; and word is that even after then we can expect demand to be high.

AT&T has been the subject of much of the issues surrounding the pre-ordering mess of the iPhone 4, as the pre-order system crashed when the company first started accepting pre-orders. Those showing up attempting to purchase one on June 29th at an AT&T store should know that inventory is limited and it will apparently be sold on a first come, first served basis.
