Quite pricey though

As we
said yesterday, Tom Tom has launched a rather interesting navigation app for the iPhone in 3G and 3GS flavours.

In the U.S. it will set you back $99 for a map of the States and Canada, and it seems European versions are launching, as well.

Tom Tom France for iPhone costs €69, and a EU-wide version sells for €99. Pretty steep considering U.S. pricing, but we guess France has better cheese and wine and it's worth a visit anyway.

The new Tom Tom software has some neat features, including multitouch support, Tom Tom's IQ Routes technology, and Tom Tom's massive database of points of interest.

You can find some screenshots and videos here.
