The Q9h replacement

Motorola hasn't really been pushing its Windows Mobile Standard Smartphone, the Q9h and despite its QWERTY keyboard, this non-touch screen phone didn't become a huge seller. Enter the Q11, the replacement for the Q9h, although at first look, this seems to be a cheaper model than the Q9h.

We can't say that we're huge fans of the new design and Motorola has gone for Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, so yet again there's no touch screen. What is known about its features so far includes built-in GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth support, as well as a 3Megapixel camera with an LED flash.

The back of the handset appears to be rubberized and the keyboard has had some major changes to the key layout compared to the Q9h, with the good news being that it now has a dedicated backspace key and better soft keys under the display. However, the overall design of the keyboard and the five-way navigation button doesn't looks quite as refined as on the Q9h.

You can find the pictures here.
