In addition to XFX returning money to angry users who bought a GTX 280 or GTX 260 as soon as the cards were released, EVGA has done the same thing for its customers who bought a card between June 16th and July 7th.
Unlike the XFX offer of up to US$120, EVGA has offered its early customers a slightly better offer. EVGA will give their customers either US$125 or $150 EVGA Bucks, which can only be used within the EVGA store, for those that bought a GTX 280. Those that bought a GTX 260 will have to settle for either $75 in EVGA Bucks or US$60.
EVGA has noted that EVGA Bucks can't be used for shipping and sales tax and has also given a list of suggestions. You can check out the full press release
