It looks like ATI partners are releasing all RV770-related information like there is no tomorrow. This time a couple of chaps in Hong Kong got hold of a Radeon HD 4870 and they did quite a lot of testing on this card.

As we've said before, it's a dual-slot card clocked at 750MHz and it looks like it can score some impressive numbers and probably fare well against Geforce 9800 GTX and even GTX+.

The new card can score 13481 points in 3Dmark06, which is quite a score. This should be close to beat our 9800GTX scores. There are some more scores here and we are expecting to see this card very soon, as it is supposed to launch this week. It can play Crysis well, as well as most of the other popular titles, even at high resolutions.
