Chilled by a Seaweed-blade cooler

MSI is going to have two 9600 GSO cards, both cooled by MSI's Seaweed-blade cooler. Both of these cards will probably feature the same clocks for the core, memory and Shaders. The only difference will be in the memory amount, the first one features a regular 384MB while the second one will have 768MB of GDDR3 memory.

The clocks of these cards are still unknown, but we believe these cards will have factory overclocked settings due to the use of the Seaweed-blade cooler. The only drawback is that this card will take two slots, but it will also lower the noise and bring higher overclocking capabilities.

If you managed to miss the info on the 9600 GSO, it is based on Nvidia's G92 core, and it is basically a renamed 8800GS. It has DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0 and PCI-Express 2.0 support and uses a 192-bit memory interface.

These two cards will retail for around €100 for the 384MB version, just like the rest of the competition, and around €140-150 for the 768MB version.

Here are the pictures.
