But comes later

Nvidia is getting really good in rebranding and renaming its chips. It's repacking its chips and products and selling them as completely new and different things.

The best example is that the Geforce 8800 GT, 8800GTS, 8800 GS and 9800GTX are all based on the same G92 chip. Nvidia won’t stop, as they will do at least one more product based on the G92.

As soon as partners get rid of the Geforce 8800GS, Nvidia will silently announce a new SKU branded as the Geforce 9600 GSO. This will probably be the last G92-based card from Nvidia and this will be the slowest of them all.

The memory interface will be slower than on the full power G92, and we suspect a 192-bit memory interface, but at the same time this will be the cheapest G92 to date.
