King of the factory overclock

EVGA has announced its OC 9800GTX lineup, and as always, they did it in style. EVGA will have three OCed cards, Superclocked, KO and SSC. The highest clocked one, SSC edition will work at 770MHz for the core, which is the highest factory overclocked 9800GTX card, at least for the time being.

The first one, branded 9800GTX SC will work at 700MHz for the core, 2.2GHz for 512MB of GDDR3 memory and 1728MHz for the Shaders. Next in line is the 9800GTX KO, or Knockout edition. It will work at a bit higher 738MHz for the core, 2250MHz for the memory and 1836MHz for the shaders.

The last one, 9800GTX SSC, or the factory overclocked king, will work at a stunning 770MHz for the core, 2.3GHz for 512MB of GDDR3 memory and incredible 1944MHz for the shaders. This is also the highest factory overclocked 9800GTX currently on the market, and we doubt that EVGA will have many of these, since there aren't a lot of GPUs that can handle such a high factory overclock.

All three of these cards are listed and prices range from €290.84 for the Superclocked, over €303.21 for the KO edition, all the way to €315.59 for the highest overclocked SSC version. You can find them listed here.
