Radeon HD 3450 is out

ATI's lowest priced DirectX 10.1, Shader model 4.1 part will sell for US$49 and its primary goal is to give Nvidia a hard time with Geforce 8400 GS.

ATI's chip is based on RV620, 55nanometer process, and works at 600MHz and is enough to fight Geforce 8400 GS performance in both games and Video.

Furthermore, if you are not happy with 600MHz clock, for US$59 you can go for ATI Radeon HD 3470 that will work at 800MHz, which we believe might be the absolute record for an entry-level chip.

At least in some games and 3dmark 3470 is faster than Nvidia's Geforce 8500 GT.
