In the U.S. it's EVGA

Nvidia has decided to pick two launch partners for its new 780i chipset. In the first week, in the U.S. it made Nforce 780i available via EVGA and it sold quite a few boards through newegg.com, while in Europe it picked another strong player.

XFX Europe got the rights to be the first with Nforce 780i in Europe, but in a week or two, it will get EVGA as a competition. The same goes for the U.S. market ,where XFX is already listed as the Nforce 780i competition.

Nvidia made a smart move, as EVGA is the number one brand in U.S. sales, and we guess XFX is definitely among the top ones; this company also enjoys the special love from Nvidia’s EU sales team for years now.

These boards are very expensive and hard to get, but the people who want two or three-way SLI don’t really have much choice.
