Special version coming soon?

Zotac has launched its G92-based 8800 GTS with 512MB of GDDR3 memory. The new card uses reference cooling and it is reference clocked.

The GPU of Zotac's Geforce 8800 GTS works at 650MHz, and the card comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at reference 1940MHz. The Shader clock has also remained at reference 1625MHz. As with any other G92 8800 GTS, this one also uses a 256-bit memory interface. This card also supports DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0, and comes with dual slot reference cooling.

This card is basically the same as any other G92-based 8800 GTS on the market, but since Zotac is one of the partners that likes to have special versions, we can expect it to hit the market soon, probably before Christmas. The European price search engine Geizhals.at has this card currently listed for €285.84; but, the card is still not available.
