Gigabyte has put its in-house designs of its Radeon HD 3850 graphics cards on its Website and you can choose between a 256 and a 512MB version. Apart from this, the two cards appear to be identical in terms of features.

Gigabyte has not announced any clock speeds of either card, which is rather unusual, but we can only assume that both cards are clocked at stock speeds.

Gigabyte is using a Zalman cooler, which has some copper fins but the majority are aluminum fins, which  should reduce the noise compared to the stock cooler.

It's seems like Gigabyte's three-phase power regulation has also meant that there is no need for the extra heatsink on the power regulation circuitry. Gigabyte supplies a copy of Never Winter Nights 2 with these cards, just as it did with the reference design card.
